Progress. Seeing change keeps me very motivated to keep going.

Who’s the most inspirational person in your life?

My mom. She always taught me to walk with a purpose and have a plan B, C & D. She taught me that nothing can stay in my way and that Sky is the limit. She also taught me how to be understanding, have my own opinion and be strong no matter what today brings.

What does your current training split look like?

I have a personal trainer Jason Strayhand that has been with me since day 1. He took me out of YOUFIT and taught me everything he knows and has been my guide for the last 3 years. We do a lot of performance training to make sure my conditioning is always on point, a lot of heavy lifting and athletic exercises. I workout about 4-5 a week and do about 3-4 days of cardio (35mins each) – and this is on a consistent basis.

What’s your favorite body part to train?

Shoulders! I enjoy training every part of my body but also i love power movements. Shoulders has always been the Muscle group that i was able to develop the easiest and i enjoy the most.

Which do you prefer, and why…steady state cardio or H.I.I.T?

I do a mix of both at the moment but sometimes when I want to cut more i do steady state cardio because it fastens my metabolism for a longer period of time rather than HIIT – but that’s just me!
