What is your athletic background, and how did you get involved with lifting?

I have always been crazy about mixed martial arts… and I got addicted to kickboxing and built a passion for MMA that led me to become a kickboxing instructor. I love the discipline and mental strength that training taught me and I wanted to experience the world of getting stronger and at 19 I started weight lifting and from that first lift I knew I got hooked for a long time !


What keeps you motivated?

I have an insatiable need to be the best version of myself. I’ve also had a tough past, and I use that to fuel me. My family, and close ones have been incredibly supportive of me. And the fact that I am one of the few Arabic female athletes to be competing professionally and going in international shows makes the world appreciate a lot the efforts I put into being an inspiration to those I can positively influence.

Who’s the most inspirational person in your life?

My mother …I would not have been the woman that I am today if she was not walking with me through every step of the way . The greatest inspiration, blessing and believer in my dreams of being the best of myself .

What does your current training split look like?

My program continually changes depending on my fitness goals. And I always love to spice things up by working with new moves or different angles and range of motion to keep things fun !

Which do you prefer, and why…steady state cardio or HIIT?

I love HIIT , it is fast, explosive ,  intense and takes my metabolism up the roof .


What are some of the most common mistakes made when someone is trying to get ripped?

– Starvation !! huge calorie deficit that kills their metabolism !

– Doing waaaaay too much cardio thinking the longer they spend on the cardio, the more they burn ! wrrrrrong !

– Going light with the weights thinking it is the best approach for muscle definition .


Funniest thing you’ve seen at the gym recently?

A girl falling off the treadmill being too busy taking a live story of herself ” hitting the gym hard”


Who do you look up to in the fitness world?

Amazing ladies I find inspiration from !! my personal favorite is Cass Martin , a beautiful mix of power , sexiness and confidence !


What are some of your favorite motivational quotes?

-‘I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.’

-“A poor man is not he who is without money, but he who is without a dream”.


Do you have any gym, pet peeves?

Oh yeah !! Those who use the benches or machines as a coffee break on their phones or for chats with their buddies !

What’s a sport or event that you would LOVE to try?

Calisthenics and Athletic pole dancing


What are the contents of your fridge?

A lot of eggs, green vegetables, steaks, fish filets, chicken Breasts and sweet potatoes.

-Tons of Cottage cheese, fruits, and Organic almond butter


How do you prepare meals? Do you cook daily or cook for the week?

– Preparing ahead of time is key to stay consistent and on point, and with my crazy schedule, I always prepare food for the next 3 days for me to make sure my meals are packed and to go .


Who is your favorite superhero? And why.

The Wonder woman, she is a fireball of power, confidence, and beauty!


What are your favorite cheat meals and foods?

– Sushi

– Sweet potato fries

– Chinese Food

– chocolate Fudge!

EDM Playlists or youtube ready to go remixes! I care about great beats with some good lyrics that get me in the pump zone !


What is the most challenging thing you deal with about consistently staying in top shape?

Being an architect with a full-time job that requires office work, site inspections , client meetings and long workshops. I wake up at 4:30 every morning for me to finish my training before work and that would get exhausting especially when preparing for a championship.


What is your greatest achievement so far?

 I am a Lebanese athlete, kick-boxer, fitness competitor and a fighter in my journey to be the best version of myself. I am one of the few Arabic female athletes to be competing in international bodybuilding and fitness championship. I Have invested in myself to become the woman I am today and would love to keep growing and sharing my experience and journey with people who are growing by numbers in their support and faith in my success. I have been able , being a native Arabic athlete to educate people through social media and training workshops about feeling and living fit and I am trying in my journey to represent this lifestyle in its best ways and to pass a beautiful image about the strong woman who is confident, smart and beautifully powerful .


If you could interview one person alive or dead, who would it be and why?

Pope John Paul II, I was lucky to witness some of his services when he was pope , but I was not lucky enough to meet him before he passed away. I adore this man and find in him the emblem of humanity .


What are some of your best diet, nutrition and supplementation tips for someone who wants to get ripped?

-Eat frequently but keep it clean . think of your food as constant fuel to your engines for them to keep burning fat .

– hydrate hydrate and hydrate !! water is super important in flushing your system .

– Don’t be afraid of combining weight training with cardiovascular workouts for you to get a good balance of lean mass .


What does your current supplementation plan look like?

-BCAA, Whey, Amino acids, Glutamine, Multivitamins, fish oils, Magnesium, zinc, digestive enzymes, Omega 3,6,9, L Carnitine…


What are your favorite 5 muscle building exercises and why?

– Deadlifts

– Squats

– Clean and Press

– Sprints

– kickboxing

I love compound training that checks both the power and stamina boxes. It hits all different muscle fibers and keeps your heart rate and performance at their peaks !


Favorite activities and hobbies you enjoy when away from the gym?

Jewelry design .

– Fashion design and sculpting. (my mom is an artist so she passed on the genes

-Outdoor hikes , fire camps, …

What’s your favorite holiday?

Christmas…. most blessed time of the year that brings everybody together with amazing vibes and festive spirit


What are your future goals, dreams, and plans?

– I would love to be on the cover of a well-known fitness magazine. That would a great way to be seen a large database and share knowledge and experience with people looking to be inspired !

– I want to start a movement to educate and coach as many people as possible about introducing fitness in their life as working people, I am an architect, and my long working hours never stood in the way of my fitness goals so I want to educate people on all ways to combine fitness and work in a way to get the best lifestyle possible.
