    What is your athletic background, and how did you get involved with lifting?

    Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Track, Softball. Once I got out of College Cheerleading I got into lifting. That led me into conpeting and it has been a lifestyle change for almost 5 years now. 

     

    What keeps you motivated? 

    I am not where I want to be and that’s what drives me. I am always hungry and looking for more. 

    Who’s the most inspirational person in your life?

    My sister.. She is a wife, mother and a workaholic. She was overweight and recently went through surgery and has had an entire lifestyle change. She is involved with her Children’s activities and also writes novels. She is my inspiration to be a better woman every single day.

    How do I get my biceps to peak so much

     

    Funniest thing you’ve seen at the gym recently?

    I saw a guy standing behind the ab crunch machine pushing it forward for chest press. 

     

    Who do you look up to in the fitness world?

    DLB always and forever

     

    What are some of your favorite motivational quotes?

    You are the only thing that can hold yourself back. 

    Do or do not, there is not try.

    The best thing about me, is that I have no limits.

    When did you realize that health and fitness was your passion?

    When I started to see that I was lacking the adrenaline rush from cheerleading and I craved having something to look forward to… a goal. 

     

    What is your favorite cheat meal?

    Either a burger or pizza 

    What gives you the best results when trying to get lean?

    Diet, cardio twice a day and high reps in training

    Workout music – what’s on your playlist?

    All metal music and old school rap (Tupac and Bone Thugs) 

    What is the most challenging thing you deal with about consistently staying in top shape?

    At night when I’m watching Netflix I want to binge eat everything after training.

    Favorite activities and hobbies you enjoy when away from the gym?

    Gymnastics, disc golf, running bleachers or track, and I also love to just take walks in the nature and listen to my favorite music. 

    What are your future goals, dreams, and plans?
    I want to get started into real estate, lead into flipping houses, get my pro card in Women’s Physique and transfer into fitness.

    What does your current supplementation plan look like?

    Fish oil, glucosamine, multi, vitamin C, pre workout and protein for post workout. I also do Vitamin Infused IV drips twice a month. 

     

    What are your favorite 5 muscle building exercises and why?

    Deadlifts, bench, squat, rows and leg press. Compound movements build density.

    My back

    In your opinion, what attributes does a successful fitness model need?

    Poise, personality, uniqueness, shape, aesthetics, and beauty

    Placing runner up to the pro card two years in a row and winning the overall in my very first show. 

     

    If you could interview one person alive or dead, who would it be and why?

    Arnold Schwarzenegger… How he was able to cast out the negative feedback with every single thing he has accomplished in his life. I want to know how he managed to handle the publicity and kept on going.

     

     If you could give all of the readers out there your 5 best tips for staying in great shape while juggling a busy schedule what would they be?

    1. You only have one life so don’t waste it

    2. Making excuses is setting yourself up for failure 

    3. Always love yourself

    4. Never let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough

    5. There’s always someone out there that might be our training you.. so stay humble and stay hungry.

    What’s a sport or event that you would LOVE to try?

    Powerlifting 

     

    What are the contents of your fridge?

    Chicken, turkey, fish, rice, egg whites, sweet potatoes, beef, water and sugar free jello

    What is your favorite healthy food

    Salmon with asparagus and rice 

     

    How do you prepare a meal?  Do you make a bunch of healthy recipes or is it just boiled chicken and asparagus every day for you?

    I have a variety of proteins. I cook in bulk and separate everything the night before my next work day. On clock work… every single day.

    I love hiit. But for prep I only do steady state. Off season I run bleachers and speed drills and incorporate gymnastics. I like to stay as active as possible.
